There is a big hill near Ally’s house.

Some of Ally’s friends go all the way to the top and hang out.

You can see everything from up there.

Sometimes people get too close to the edge, it’s scary over there.

Who knows what would happen if you slipped! Ally looked on worried.

They didn’t touch one another but they sounded very upset. Their words weren’t nice.

Ally told someone nearby what was happening, but they didn’t listen.

Ally found someone else, but they were too busy looking for something they had lost.

This felt bad. Ally’s heart started beating fast and stomach was feeling weird.

The person was a police officer who talked to the angry people.
